Welcome to Still Ahead (“Still Ahead”, the “App”, “we”, or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Still Ahead and its related services. Still Ahead is operated by FaultyBit.

By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Still Ahead. These Terms apply except where prohibited or limited by applicable law.

Use of Still Ahead

Still Ahead is a personal timeline application that lets people record life events, preserve memories, and connect moments shared with others. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with its operation, security, availability, or anyone else's use of it.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. If you use Still Ahead on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation.

Accounts

Still Ahead may allow you to sign in through providers such as Apple or Google. Authentication is handled by those providers, and their own terms and privacy policies also apply to their services.

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate, maintaining the security of your account, and activity that occurs through it. You must not share your account, impersonate another person, or use someone else's account without permission. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your Content

You may create timelines, life events, dates, descriptions, photos, profile details, connections, invitations, shared moments, and other material in Still Ahead (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content.

You grant Still Ahead a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, reproduce, display, and transmit your User Content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and support the App. This licence ends when your content is deleted from our active systems, subject to reasonable technical and legal retention periods.

You are responsible for your User Content and for having all rights and permissions needed to record, upload, or share it. This includes personal information, images, and stories about other people.

Shared Moments and Other People

When you invite someone, connect a shared moment, or change a visibility setting, other people may be able to view or interact with the relevant User Content. You are responsible for choosing the right audience and ensuring the people you include or invite are authorised to access that content.

Respect the privacy and dignity of others. Do not publish private, confidential, or sensitive details about another person without an appropriate basis or their permission.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Still Ahead for unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, or deceptive activity
• Record, upload, or share content that violates another person's rights
• Expose someone's private or sensitive information without authorisation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data
• Disrupt or interfere with the security or operation of the App
• Upload malicious code, spam, automated scraping tools, or harmful content
• Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or misuse the App except where applicable law expressly permits it
• Use Still Ahead as the sole repository for information that requires guaranteed or permanent archival storage

Still Ahead's Ownership

Still Ahead, including its software, design, branding, logo, interfaces, and related materials, is owned by FaultyBit or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. They give you only a limited right to use the App in accordance with these Terms and applicable app-store rules.

Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation. You retain any rights you already hold in your original materials.

Privacy and Data

Our Privacy Policy explains how Still Ahead collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information. By using the App, you acknowledge that information will be handled as described in that policy.

Third-Party Services

Still Ahead may depend on third-party services, including sign-in providers, cloud infrastructure, app stores, and analytics or error-reporting providers. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

Service Availability and Changes

Still Ahead is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App, including features, limits, supported platforms, and availability. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent service.

You should keep independent copies of memories or information that are important to you. Still Ahead is not a substitute for your own backup or archival system.

Payments and App Stores

If we offer paid features, subscriptions, or purchases, the price, renewal, cancellation, refund, and billing terms shown at purchase or provided by the relevant app store will apply. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

Termination

You may stop using Still Ahead at any time and can delete your account directly from within the App. If you need help with deletion, contact [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create a risk for the App or its users, or if required by law.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute provisions, will continue to apply.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Still Ahead is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FaultyBit and Still Ahead are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, memories, goodwill, or opportunities arising from or related to your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold FaultyBit harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your User Content, misuse of Still Ahead, or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to FaultyBit as the developer and operator of Still Ahead, unless mandatory laws where you live require otherwise. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice in the App or by another reasonable method where required by law. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
